Here is Sol he is 8 years old, he was retired from Dogs for The Disabled a few weeks ago and was the partner to a young boy with autism, unfortunately the parents separated and couldn't afford to keep Sol anymore.
His training has been more companionship than what Kara was trained to do, he is bigger than Kara
He is very active and like to play he is also very alert and responds to how people are feeling, he was trained to diffuse a tantrum and difficult situations.
His training has been allowed to slip so he needs a bit of taking in hand, he is quiet and not a barker.
He reminds me of a dog version of James Dean I think he has a bit of rebellion in him, I am sure Kara sees him as a bit of rough.
They have both settled together although Kara has claimed his bed when she feels like it and then claims her bed back, she has put him straight a few times when he has stepped over the line.
Next week Kara is back at the vet and I am expecting the worst news ever as the 2 tumour's at the top of her leg are growing at a vast pace and now her mobility is being affected. She is also starting to show problems swallowing with the tumour on her neck, these will be last photos I put up of Kara as its becoming very difficult.
Fast asleep on Sol's bed after helping me collect the post
She tried to carry this little package home.
Hope you all have a brilliant Bank Holiday :-)
